Hi all,

I got an email from April about a family she is supporting in Early Head Start. It is two parents and 4 children under the age of 4, one who is 3 months old.

They have been actively searching for housing and were approved for a space that became no longer available which is leaving them in a bind since they can’t stay in the transitional home they are currently past June 10^th. They found housing AGAIN but the current move in date is June 28^th. So currently, they have no where to go between June 10^th and June 28^th. Mom mentioned staying in a tent somewhere but we are hoping to avoid that happening.

Does anyone have any advice for where the family could go for about 2.5 weeks? A request has been placed and the family may have $1500 to pay towards a space for that time. Please feel free to reply to April who is cc’d here!
