Hi Jeanie,

I will not be on campus this Tuesday but will set some yarn aside for you and let staff know to expect you at 11 am.

If you do ever want to donate hats/scarfs in the Tacoma area, the 99 Stockings Project is awesome and directly benefits clients staying at our sites. They pack Christmas/Holiday Stockings for people actively experiencing homelessness and need hats/scarfs to pack.

If you’re interested in sharing knitted items with them (and by extension us), please let me know and I will put you in touch with Therese.

Thanks!

Hi Jeanie,

Thank you! I am available from about 3:30-6:15 pm today if you wanted to swing by. I would definitely want to make sure that you get yarn to take with you if/when you come out.

Our normal donation hours are Tuesdays, 10 am – 2pm and Thursdays, 4-7 pm.

Nativity House Shelter gratefully accepts seasonal clothing for adult men & women, underwear/bras (need not be new- just clean), casual shoes, belts, baseball hats, umbrellas, towels, blankets/quilts/comforters, Twin XL sheets (or any size flat sheet) and pillows (as long as they are washed and in good condition). We also accept personal hygiene supplies, food donations and painting (art) supplies.

With Thanks

Good morning.  I talked with Phil and he has alot on his table right now.  Right now I have 3 blankets. Can drop them off at your convenience.  Also do you take gentle used clothing?

Thanks

Jeanie

Hi Jeannie,

Thank you! Our need is for adult size blankets or something an adult staying outside might want to wrap up in on a cold day.

Thanks,

Hi Jeanie,

If your crew would be willing to make blankets that would be awesome! Please let me know if you would like yarn. If Phil is coming this way I should be able to send some with him. Just let me know how much.

Thanks!

This is Jeanie Tidd,  we talked yesterday. I'm with the Bonney Lake Senior Center.  I talked to a group of knitters and crocheter's and unfortunately we looked at patterns and found it beyond our expertise to make.  I'm am so sorry. We can offer handmade blankets, scarves and neck warmers.

Thank you for reaching out to our group, we love making and giving to people in need.

If you have any questions, please let me know.
