I was just e-mailing you to suggest contacting Shatone Martin at Lifting Spirits with Helping Hands (liftingspiritswithhelpinghands@gmail.com), who presented to the Coalition a few months ago about her nonprofit getting donated medical supplies into the hands of those who need it.

Subject: Homeless Coalition - Wheel chair or walker for houseless client

Hello everyone! I have a client who is new to the state and needs to stay at a women’s shelter tonight but needs assistance to go to the bathroom at night. As we know she won’t be able  stay at shelters in Pierce county if she isn’t fully able to take care of this need on her own. If she had a walker or wheel chair she would be able to take care of her needs independently. My goal is to find her a walker or wheelchair today so she won’t have to sleep unsheltered. If anyone has any resources or even a walker or wheelchair they could loan or gift her until she’s able to get one of her own that would be amazing!
