Hi. I’m supposed to have a DSHS Financial worker. Due to my medical conditions, my program’s on the second floor, not the first floor, where everyone else goes, if they’ve got children, or even a minor health issue, that doesn’t require much medication, or health management.

My problem is this:

I’ve contacted everyone that I know, and I can’t get any information on DSHS. They  used to have a local number, at one time: 476, with some four numbers attached.

I’ve heard nothing from my financial worker, in at least, three years, probably four. I figured that they’d contact me, if I needed to fill out something, but I’ve received no contact.

Now that I need to contact someone, all I get is an out-of-county number, and a person barely out of college, who assumes by one look at my file, that I’m talking nonsense.

My doctors’ office, and everywhere else, can’t find a number, that’s local. I need to get an attorney, so that I can file a grievance against Washington State, for not complying with Americans with Disabilities Act, by failing to communicate in an accessible manner, who my financial worker is.

I feel that since all of my other options are gone, and I have the right to choose my insurance, through Medicare, and must speak to my DSHS worker to do this, that I will need legal assistance.

I only have a couple of hundred dollars, that I can afford in case, SSA decides that I was right regarding a claim that I’ve made, about payments.

Does anyone know of a lawyer, who assists with Medicaid issues? I’ve actually considered contacting the Media, for help. I don’t want to, but I’m out of options.

I wish that this was an April Fools, but it’s not. If I can’t get this person, my rights will still be as violated tomorrow, as today.
