I'm not sure if this is a DV situation, but the YWCA of Pierce county has a legal department that can assist with most legal issues connected to DV situations.  They are very friendly, great about explaining information in a way someone without a law degree can understand and are quite hands on.  I do not think they can physically go to court with someone, but they help with preparation, paperwork and advice.
