The Pierce County Humane Society has a financial aid program. He must apply in person and the turn around time is usually within  24 hours. I just personally used this resource and the covered an entire estimate. He may need to have a vet clinic prepare an estimate for services including the visit charge and medications. But it works. It's not meant for emergent situations, but mine was serious and was approved and seen by the vet the same day.

Hope this helps

Is anyone aware of any veterinary services that help the homeless population? I have a client with a cat who was attacked and is in need of help, but they cannot afford a vet visit at this time.

Thank you,
