If it is the Walmart in lakewood, they actually offer a shuttle service for disabled people.  I have several elderly friends who use it.  It is the only Walmart though (that I know of) who does it.

Subject: Homeless Coalition - Specialized transportation need

We have a member, who due to legal issues, is restricted from leaving the home. This individual is seeking transportation assistance from the apartment complex to shopping (WalMart) and back.

Does anyone out there in listserve land know of a no-cost, non-medical transportation provider who handles specialized transportation needs?
