Rob Huff 15 Nov 2019 15:27 UTC
Metropolitan Development Council will hold two public meetings next week to discuss the issues and possible solutions related to the establishment of additional temporary shelter sites for people who are currently homeless within the Tacoma city limits. Each meeting will include food at the beginning followed by structured conversation, and we are seeking comments from members of the Tacoma community at large, members of faith-based organizations, nonprofits, and the community of those who are currently homeless.
Meetings will be held:
• Wednesday, November 20, starting with food served at 5:30 p.m. and discussion from 6-8 p.m.
• Thursday, November 21, starting with food served at 5:30 p.m. and discussion from 6-8 p.m.
Each meeting will be held at the Asia Pacific Cultural Center at 4851 South Tacoma Way. Parking is available on site.
