Hello everyone,

Thank you all for those that attend todays in person inclement weather debrief, and especially PCHS and DEM for hosting the meeting! One of the items that came up during today’s discussion was getting more public health education specific to folks living unhoused for extreme heat. I went back to my team and found we have a 2 pager that helps people recognize the signs of heat cramps/ exhaustion/ stroke, ways to treat it, locations of drinking fountains, and a link to TPCHD’s “Keep Cool” webpage.

I figured this would be a great resource for everyone to have, and so wanted to share that here. If people have additional thoughts or things they would like to see please reach out to me and I can work on getting those edits. I will be working on getting this to be more accessible moving forward.
