Hi everyone,
A number of people have asked if we will hold hot weather check in meetings during the coming holiday weekend, with the forecast projecting temperatures in the upper 80s on the Fourth of July followed by temperatures at or above 90 degrees on July 5 and July 6.
We can discuss hot weather response during the regular Monday Safe Sites for All meeting hosted by the Coalition at noon, and the link to join that meeting is this: https://us06web.zoom.us/j/82616768152?pwd=TWJaN05QWExWMzY5UTV1d3NETlZXZz09
I am open to holding a brief check in meeting on the morning of July 4, if people are interested in attending as well. Please respond if you would be interested in attending a July 4 hot weather check in meeting. If enough of us are interested, I will distribute a link. We could also use this inclement weather mailing list to share plans for outreach on July 4 if a meeting isn’t in the cards.
We will definitely hold hot weather check in meetings beginning on July 5, and the link to join those 9 a.m. meetings is this: https://us06web.zoom.us/j/84126376326?pwd=OUNsaUpPM0R1R3NvNmhYWEI3eTYzUT09
Thanks for all that you plan to do over the weekend and next week!
