Dear colleagues,

Tough morning. Stopped by the Mound encampment this morning, someone went into the camp last night and fired 11 shots into a tent, missed the person inside, walked over to Diego who witnessed the shooting and received 5 shots into him. He died at the scene. The shooter claimed that the first person in the tent was seen breaking into the shooters vehicle. That camp that was self managed with a group tent for community meals is now breaking up.
Then went to the 7th and Tacoma encampment, that is growing. Fire Department was across the street working on someone and taking him to the ER. He was riding his bike and was hit by a car, that left by eye witness accounts. Everyone was afraid to call the police to report it. I returned his bike to his mother. She is pissed.
