I’ve updated the Steering Committee meeting stuff to reflect the temporary move to Thursdays at 11am. I’m using the same zoom link, but I’ve updated it with the new time, as well as updating the website and outlook invite – so everything should be consistent and we should be good to go. Let me know if anything is weird.

Thanks,

-Gerrit

Subject: Confirming Steering Committee for Thursday, April 8 from 11-12

Good evening everyone,

Gerrit and I conferred, and we agree to work to Courtney's schedule for the remaining three weeks of the Ad Hoc Committee meetings.  This gives us an opportunity to talk with both Gerrit and Courtney about the meetings, materials, etc.

That means the Steering Committee is scheduled for Thursday April 8 for 11-12 noon.  That's an hour later than I first proposed.  Hopefully it will work for many of us.

The Ad Hoc Committee and the following Comprehensive Plan to End Homelessness, the City of Tacoma's 5 Year Homeless Strategy, our Coalition Priorities for ARPA money, and the State Legislature are probably our most important policy and program issues for the Steering Committee.  These will set our financial resources for the coming two years and policies on into the future.

Governance will continue to evolve - we have proposed meeting norms, proposed process for representation, proposed process for gathering information on the value of the Coalition - all important to formalizing the best of our current practices.

We will record the Steering Committee meetings for those who cannot attend.

Once we get through these three weeks and see the make-up of the Comprehensive Plan committee and its schedule, we can decide when we want the Steering Committee to meet.

Thanks everyone,

Maureen
