Just to be clear...there. is NO Monday night meeting scheduled at this time.  Sorry for any confusion.  I meant to use last Monday's as an example.

We'll decide after Coalition Friday meeting if we need to meet Monday night.

And to clear up anymore confusion:

Yes - the Steering Committee meets Thursday at 11
A small group of us will meet with Thoms Thursday at 2
Hold Friday at 8am - we could update on Thursday's Ordinance discussion
The Coalition will meet as usual Friday morning at 9

Please be patient...and keep checking to be sure I'm reeasonably clear!

Thanks

Thanks Maureen for update and taking point on scheduling all this.

I’ll be able to make the Monday night meeting. That time works well for me.

For the meeting with Thoms, I’ll unfortunately be mid-teaching during that time. Appreciate the invite and look forward to hear what comes from that conversation. If you’d like someone to be in attendance from TDSA, I can connect with Nate Schumer to see if he’s available. He’s been taking more of a point with our housing justice organizing. If not, I’d love to connect y’all with him sometime in the future. He’s a transit planner for DOT by day, so really into policy planning and really solid organizer.

Great to be in community with y’all. Have a great rest of your Wednesday.

Good morning,
We have a meeting tomorrow from 2-3.  I worked around my schedule, Gerrit's and CM Thoms'.  Others are welcome.  I've reached out to Rob and Theresa because I know they've both thought about this alot and have strong positions on what we should/should not do.

Before our Steering Committee meeting, I'll have a draft of talking points - the items/issues/concerns but not so much the answers - to add to what CM Thoms has already provided to either Gerrit or me.

So please send me your thoughts as soon as possible - you are representing yourself not your organization - unless you want to do so.

This meeting will be an item on the Steering Committee agenda but pretty time constricted.   I'll report to the Coalition Friday on the status of the process and ask for comments/concerns - not breakouts.  Limit the time for discussion.  Folks can use the chat.

We'll likely work by email so if you are someone who only checks the daily digest at night, please consider changing your setting for the next few weeks.  I don't have time to track you down to be sure you have the most current information or want to weigh in on something.

We'll likely meet during regular business hours though just like last Monday's Steering Committee meeting, we might have to include an evening or two.  8pm seemed to work well for those of you with children to feed and get to bed.

Thanks,
Maureen
