Oh good.

Once we have something certain, can you please manage the social media "starting point?"

If there is a need to help distribute water, beyond providers and outreach staff, I have had a number of folks reach out to me through Facebook offering to help - either with labor or donations.

We are waiting on details - because the details are both incomplete and are changing, I'm not sending this out to the full Coalition yet.  As soon as I have something concrete, I will do so.  Right now, here's what I know:

1.Jan Runbeck is coordinating delivery of two pallets of bottled water (800 bottles each) scheduled for Thursday.  We have one potential site and two back-up sites for delivery and distribution.  Staff and volunteers will have access.  This water will be free from Nourish Pierce County.  We believe we can also expect water from the Emergency Food Network.

2.I am waiting on confirmation of reimbursement management for individuals and organizations that purchase water for use in encampments within the City of Tacoma.  Associated Ministries is working directly with the City of Tacoma on the details and when we have confirmation, I'll share those with the full Coalition.

3.I have requested but do not have confirmation of a similar process for purchase of water for use outside of the City of Tacoma.

4.Pierce County Emergency Management is engaged as is Pierce County Human Services.  I have given Heather Moss, Director of Pierce County Human Services, the information I've received from those of you who responded with specific numbers of bottled water needed.

Thanks to those who reached out with information and suggestions.

Maureen
