Thanks to a couple of City Councilmembers, $1000 will be made available to purchase blankets. A small wrinkle involves having a fiscal agent with a city contract. Safe Streets is stepping up and logistics are being worked.

Currently, we can get fleece blankets for about $3 each, so roughly 300 blankets. Question I am asking is: can we do better? There are various discounters and wholesalers; do you know where we might better use the $1000 for blankets? A challenge, but I am looking to stretch the money as far as possible.
